Where innovation turns into reality

A new embedded tech accelerator.

Launching Autumn 2025.

What is the program?

Our 12-week embedded accelerator is designed with the goal of helping companies build scalable electronic products.

From design-for-manufacture, to streamlining supply chains, we equip cohort members with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to develop electronics products that not only work but can grow with demand.

  • £25,000 Match-funded prototype development
  • Professional grade electronics lab and equipment access
  • Rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
  • Boutique co-lab space with expert engineering support
  • Manufacturing and supply chain support and introductions
  • Access to business advisors and business mentoring
  • Sign-posting, pitch days, and investor events

Who is it for?

The AND Lab accelerator program is designed for researchers, start-ups and companies with electronics products, who are ready to move beyond the DIY phase into the realm of professional-grade electronics. The aim is to help develop scalable electronics that will be disruptive in the market, attract investment, and grow.

Eligibility:

Applicant

  • UK-based individuals, start-ups, research institutes or SMEs who are developing electronics product.
  • No requirement on secured funding, although pre-seed investment/access-to-funds is preferable.
  • Ambitious innovators looking to attract investment and revenues

Technology

  • Systems containing at least one electronics-based product.
  • Formulated technology concept/working principles.
  • Any sector application is welcome.

The AND Fund

ANDtr are investing up to £375,000k in companies that are delivering embedded technology to market. Cohorts members receive 2/3 matched funding up to 25k. This is in exchange for IP license agreement, or equity stake with buy-out options at next funding round. Two cohorts will be run per year, one in spring and one in Winter. Across both cohorts, up to 20 members will be selected for the program.

The AND Lab

Based between Essex and London, our facilities will become open to cohort members. This includes our electronics equipment, test chambers, rapid prototyping and 3D printers.
There is also a boutique co-working space provided where members can upskill, network and collaborate with other embedded tech start-ups on the cohort.

Integration and re-investment

A portion of profits will be re-invested into following cohorts to offer a larger scale of funding for future innovators. Integration with other programs and services will boost the accelerator offering, helping the members grow beyond the cohort.

Charity Engagement

Engagement with engineering charities will enable the accelerator to offer engineering experience and opportunities to grow the pool of innovators within the UK. We aim to provide valuable experience to those looking to join the electronics industry through work schemes, charity engagement and more.
