Land's End to John O'Groats

John Thorn at Land's End, Cornwall, UKThey say there's a fine line between genius & madness... AND's John Thorn is putting this to the test in a epic challenge that will see him cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats.

Starting on Sunday 25th July & ending (in theory) on Thursday 19th August, the challenge begins at Land's End. John will then head up through Cornwall & Devon, passing through Bristol, then up through Ludlow, Chester on to the Lake District. From there the route will take John across to Edinburgh, Perth, Aviemore, Inverness & finally on up to John O'Groats.

Inspiration

John's decision to undertake this trip was inspired by his sister's fantastic attitude to her recent & on-going treatment for cancer - therefore for every mile John covers, he is aiming to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Any & every bit of support would be extremely welcome & donating is easy. Simply visit John's JustGiving page & you can donate online using a credit or debt card

Therefore, during the whole of John's trip, the team here at AND HQ will be keeping an eye on progress in real-time using Google Latitude & you too can check up to date on John's progress by visiting this page & checking out the Google Latitude app below:
