CodeFrames - Prototyping without hardware
CodeFrames - Prototyping without hardware

CodeFrames
CodeFrames Smart

Just Imagine..

...Being able to design products that use microcontrollers, quickly and easily. Imagine no longer - CodeFrames enables prototypes to be developed and evaluated in a 'virtual' environment where designers can try ideas rapidly and can tune the detailed appearance and behavior of the prototype for the best customer reaction.

With CodeFrames you can:

  • Have a product idea in the morning and be experimenting with a prototype the same afternoon.
  • Complete a 'rebuild and retry' cycle in around a minute.
  • Set up complex test cases easily, repeatably and predictably.
  • Port the code you develop in the virtual prototype directly to your real microcontroller hardware. (It's in ANSI 'C')
  • Put the prototype on your web-site as a working model of your product for customers to download. (The prototype is a self contained Windows. EXE
  • Cut development times and costs

AND Technology Research's current CodeFrames virtual prototyping and related products >

CodeFrames using pre-defined using pre-coded PC drivers accessible through a defined API lets you build PC based models of your product. Application code can be developed, tried and tested in the virtual environment.

CodeFrames Smart supports host/slave application development in the virtual environment

CodeLines will generate microcontroller specific I/O driver code for the product components. This automatically generated code can then replace the PC drivers used in the virtual prototype when porting to the real hardware.

CodeLines Drivers pre-coded higher level drivers to support specific applications such as CAN, Flash, I2C

PC Host Requirements (The suggested minimum requirements )

Processor RAM
O/S
Display Storage

Pentium or compatible
32 Mbytes
Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 95
SVGA or better
30Mbyte

A demonstration CD is available. Please call or mail for details.
