Digital & Analogue Electronics
The creation of analogue & digital circuits involves combining available components with system requirements, design standards & of course the laws of nature. Digital & Analogue design both present challenges in design, The joy of our work at AND rests in the fact that each client project is unique & we have a unique opportunity to bring expertise & countless experience to overcome problems & produce cost-effective, manufacturable & robust designs.
Analogue electronics
Analogue signals emanate in the real world, sound, power, radio waves examples. Designing circuits to receive, capture, process or transmit analogue systems is an art. Noise is always an issue, size of components, heat generated are areas which have to be addressed. At AND we have a wealth of experience & standard designs for power supplies, sound capture, current & voltage sensing, balun and line couplers.
Digital electronics
Logic circuits for control & communications are the standard building blocks of digital design. Exact values for current and voltage means that signals can be precise & complex logic to solve individual problems can be built from simple signals. Examples from the AND store of standard designs include SPI, I2C & USB, other communications protocols; memory chips & data buses.
